Acts of Kindness Soup Mix & Recipe

The Food Bucks program is designed to help keep the shelves filled at the Grand Island Community Food Pantry. Since June of 1999 the program has raised about $100,000.00 in eight food centers located in Grand Island, NE.

Holiday Food Baskets
The "Holiday Baskets" event before Thanksgiving and Christmas has grown into a tradition since 1999. Each year anywhere from 125 to 200 sacks have been filled with all the ingredients necessary for a nice holiday family dinner and then delivered by volunteers to homes nominated to receive them. A total of about 1,400 such dinners have been processed to date.
